As part the bank’s social responsibility, the Agbogbloshie branch of Merchant Bank Ghana has donated text books, exercise books and other writing material to the Antaaruden Islamic Complex School situated at the Abossey Okai Central Mosque during the branch’s one year anniversary.

Presenting the items, the Head of Retail Mr. Henry Baye stated that the bank is a community partner and is proud to be associated with the school. He further stated that these children are the further leaders of this country and it is imperative for all community stakeholders to invest into their future hence the gesture from Merchant Bank.


Also present at the ceremony was Mr. Isaac Owusu, the General Manager Operations of the Bank and Mrs. Angela Kufour, the Abgobgloshie branch manageress.


Alhaji Gado, representing the Chief Iman, received the items on behalf of school, and thanked the bank for making the donation. The Administrator of the Abossey Okai Mosque, Alhaji Adam Musa Abubakar pledged the support of the Muslim community to the bank.
